The last Spanish Championships (before 30.1.09) was in June 2006, less than 3 years ago. Following the reglement Xavier Fonellosa have to have 4 national points. So there is one more place for Spain and one less for France...

According to the reglement of the Belgium Federation the KBBB canceled the participation of Willy Daelman.
If the CEB react as one week before with the turkish players, a Belgium player will take the free place, so Jurgen Goris will get the starting place.

Billiard player wants to play EC via judge. Jurgen Goris took a lawyer to get his starting place at the European Championships in Grubbenvorst. He was passed over from the VAS-administration because he has not played national rankings since 3 seasons. Jurgen Goris is international continually active. He is now No.10 of the European ranking which gives him the right to participation. |

Haci Arap Yaman will not come to Grubbenvorst. There is no new organisation of groups. He is replaced directly by an turkish player, not by a reserve player.

The last Spanish Championships before closing the CEB-ranking at 30.01.2009 was on June 15th-17th, 2006. This is less than 3 years, so the spanish national points are missing in this ranking. With these points Xavier Fonellosa will have 24 pts and he will be placed on 4th position, not on 7th. So normally there have to be a 2nd starting place for spain...
